EPIC Photo Competition 2022

Contractor Magazine and EPIC Careers in Infrastructure present the EPIC Photo Competition – a chance to show the world what’s great about working in civil construction.

ROUND TWO: MATARIKI (EPIC SPIRIT) – entries close 16 July

The theme for the second round of our 2022 EPIC Photo Competition is MATARIKI (EPIC Spirit).

Matariki is a time to reflect and think about the year gone by, as well as share with your friends, family and team. So enter photos of how you show your EPIC spirit on the job, the people you have worked with on the job, or teamwork on the amazing infrastructure construction work you’ve done in the past year.

It’s all about the amazing people who are building and maintaining New Zealand’s civil infrastructure this round, whether it’s by starlight, moonlight or sunlight.

  • Include details about the location your photo was taken at, for instance Waipukurau, Hawke's Bay
  • Include details about what is happening in the photo, for instance: An excavator operator showing their amazing skills repairing flood damage to a bridge so holidaymakers could have access once again. Pro tip: try and relate this to the competition brief.
