EPIC PHOTO COMPETITION 2026

Contractor Magazine and EPIC Careers in Infrastructure present the EPIC Photo Competition – a chance to show the world what’s great about working in civil construction.

ROUND ONE: EPIC PEOPLE ON EPIC TOOLS!

The theme for the latest round of our EPIC Photo Competition is ‘Epic people on epic tools!’. Whether it’s trenching, pipe welding, manual labour, hand spreading, lab testing, drones, your daily equipment, or a view from the cab of your excavator, we’d love to see it.

Submit as many high-definition photos as you like, add a catchy title and short blurb about who you are and where you work, and you could be in to win. Don’t forget to like and follow us or subscribe to our newsletter for more EPIC updates.

By entering, you give CCNZ permission to use your photos for marketing purposes and confirm they comply with your company’s Health & Safety policies.

  • You must be a member of Civil Contractors New Zealand to enter.
  • Include details about the location your photo was taken at, for instance Waipukurau, Hawke's Bay
  • Include details about what is happening in the photo, for instance: An excavator operator showing their amazing skills repairing flood damage to a bridge so holidaymakers could have access once again. Pro tip: try and relate this to the competition brief.
  • Must either be jpg/jpeg or png, and at least 1MB in size. Note: it may take up to a minute to upload your photo, depending on file size.
    Accepted file types: jpg, png, jpeg, Max. file size: 10 MB.
